Hi dear,
I started to do a buffalo some years ago and stoped. I have the placid hd, placid hd BP and legato I/V stage.
Correct me if i am wrong, To build a Bufallo III SE 9028 pro i will need :
Buffalo-IIIsePro28 2-Channel DAC Module (No Tridents/AVCC)
Trident/AVCC Combo for Buffalo(II/III)
Low Current Dual Power Supply HO Kit or i can use the placid hd ?

Russ or Brian can correct me if I am wrong, but yes, the B3 SE 9028 + Trident SE set is what you need (they are grouped together as a buy on the BIII SE page).
For power the Placid HD should also be fine, I opted for the LCDPS as I am running a 9038, but I think the Placid HD should be fine for what you need for the BII SE board (perhaps with a bigger heat sink?)
