I did found the Schrink Sleeve of the capacitor of the HD Placid broken that feeds the master BIII.
The capacitor itself seems intact though... I can pull away the black top cap looking on the bare metal of the capacitor. But it looks alright..

Can I take some more measurements at dedicated points?

The other thing to check is your CAT5 wiring. I would actually suggest you panel mount the teleporters and then simply keep the target devices relatively close to the teleporters.

I just cut out the Teleporter system.

I am able to get a lock on the signal now but only with Sw 2:4 in Bypass.
But even so, no music trough the speakers.

So the Teleporters do something good here. Will they amplify the data signal?
Do I have a contact resistance somewhere?

The lock is very steady now but only in Bypass. When oversampling is put in use the lock dissapears.
I use the dedicated PSU of the WaveIO but also in lower bitrates without succes. Also the same with the USB as power source.

I use as much of the (power) connections and wiring in both set-ups with and without Teleporter.
When I build everything back to normal with the Teleporter system it's all joy up to 48Khz.
Sw 2:4 can be set in "bypass" or "use". Both work but when in "use" the sound quality is better.
Above 48Khz the lock LED stays on with 2:4 in Bypass but it produces no sound trough the speakers.

I just swapped the Teleporters.
I get a lock onto the signal but the only thing I hear now is crackling noise, like snow TV but than with crackling sound....

Jus swapped them back, reversed the Dip sw again, and all normal again... Eh?

I swapped the Teleporters again en reversed the Dip Switches. Again noise.

When I reverse the Dip switches of the receiving teleporter one by one (leaving all the switches of the sending in send) I notice that the lock LED comes on with only the Bitt Clock in the correct setting. When adding Lirick the noise starts.

Again when connecting the WaveIO directly to the Sidecar the only way to get a lock is to put the 2:4 in OFF.
But no sound is produced.

I will check the Sidecar connections and else I think the WaveIO doesn't pass trough the signal strong enough or so...

I have ordered i.uf connector to use the non-isolated I2S output form the board.
As soon as I received them I will continue T/S.

If someone has some good idea's in the meanwhile I'm open to it...

Hi Brian/ all,

I just solved the max sample rate issue.
By using the U.fl connectors from the WaveIO board the bitrate can be boosted to 32/192K !! Dancing

This means the Isolated Ground chip of the WaveIO has been compromised.
