Hi everyone - Russ included :-)

So, i have finally got Muses 0p amps, and they sound great.

I tried the MUSES02 - sounds exactly as expected with very warm and less space in the tops.

With the MUSES01, i much prefer the sound with very powerful tops and spaciousness BUT i get these strange HF artefacts in the sound that I can't quite describe. Like when there is just a quiet period with an instrument playing, it kinda has this harmonic buzzing type noise that DOESNT appear on the balanced, or when I have the MUSES02s in there.

just the MUSES01's.

So questions
- Firstly, are the MUSES01s compatible with the Legato BAL/SE stage?

My implementation has no buffers, or feedback as i found for my needs the cleanest was the best with my previous TL072s. Could this be the issue?

Keen to hear if anyone has experienced this or can shed some light as to why these strange hf artefacts occur, i can almost record it and post on here?

Still Struggling to get this going.. its really frustrating because they sound soooooo good but i can't used them cos of this noise issue. Kind of oscillation / cracking when the input amplitude goes too high...

Other op amps don't do this.

so i have tried 220p on the feedback cap - still no success.

When you say to increase output resistance do you mean increase R23 nd R22?

Just s a note i don't use the output buffers at all.

Output from op amp goes to the op amp output -> C6 -> R23 -> R26 -> output

I assume this is correct so total output resistance is then R23 + R26? so 4.99k + 22ohms.. right now.
