Is the integrated IV coversion discrete transistor based, or is it Op-amp based ?

Can we bypass the integrated IV conversion and do our own IV ?

Thanks.

It is not discrete.

You could bypass it if you have the skill. It would be better to buy the stripped down "tweaker" board if you want to do all that. :)

Cheers!

Are two power supplies needed now for the B32S? One for each IV channel? Are the PS's going through a redesign or are you still going to use the LCDPS and LCBPS?

You can use one bipolar for each side or share one between them. The two supplies are staying the same, and perform very well as pre-regulators.

Sorry for a possible dumb question, would you benefit from using individual power supplies for each channel, I would assume if one wanted to go down that road then two transformers (one per board) would be justified as well to be of any functional increase in performance? Basically if one plans on using one 9v and one 15V trafo then use one LCDPS(for the B32S) and one LCBPS(left and Right IV), but if going with one LCDPS and two LCBPS then use two 15V trafo's, one trafo per channel.

Did that come out right... ??
