After successfully building a dozen of these I cannot get this one working - an original V1.0 HD Bipolar. I can only get 1.8V out of the positive side.
This appears to be because the base of QN1 is only being fed with 1.8V by QP3. I have replaced QP3 - no difference. If I remove QN1 I get around 10.5 volts out of QP3. I replaced QN1 - no difference.
Thats the end of my diagnostic capabilities on this problem. Any advice is most welcome.
