The miniSHARC from miniDSP has 8 x I2S outputs and I would like to have balanced out to my Emotive XPA-5 amplifier.
Can I use four OPUS?
And can you help me with a good power supply? I also need to connect a Raspberry PI to the PWD.

Four Opus will work fine for this.

You can use either the LCDPS to power all four DACs, or a pair of Placid HDs.

2 of those:

http://www.twistedpearaudio.com/power/placid.aspx

or this one:

If you believe in power supply quality matters (I do), the first is superior

They come "as is". You have to solder. You can't order them RtP (Ready to Play).

You have to order transformers as well.
