From what I read, the SPDIF level converter takes a consumer level 0.5v input and converts it to 3.3v for interface with the board. Will this work in reverse? I have an SPDIF 3.3v output on a miniSHARC board that I would like to convert to 0.5v to create an SPDIF output.

If this won't work in reverse, how would I go about converting 3.3v SPDIF out to a consumer 0.5V?

Do a simple voltage divider by using 2 resistors.
