Don't see your message....
I replaced the R8A and the R8B with 220R replacement (measure OK)
Nothing has changed...can't understand what is wrong...

Thanks. Didn't see this post until now. Yes, that a major problem. Time for a 3. check.

QP1 + QP2 = MFJ127G
QN1 + QN2 = MFJ122G

I'd love to say I inverted them so this nightmare would be ended but unfortunately they are good.... My QP and QN are good. don't need to waste your time on this, your put great effort for me...I am about to give up, I'll try another forum or may be just purchase a new double rail regulated +-15vdc power supply fully built...Damn it is rude, my placid HD is just work fine...my HD BP is going to make me crazy. thank you for your time...if you have another ideas, I'll take it tomorrow when I will be calmed down. Again thanks. Edited by user Tuesday, April 28, 2015 9:54:20 PM(UTC)

How about all the small transistors. Are they all in the right spots ? Also the two voltage references - don't mix those up with the transistors. They look similar to each other. Don't give up on this one. It's a magnificent power supply once running. Edited by user Tuesday, April 28, 2015 9:56:06 PM(UTC)

Transistor are ok qp3 - qp5 are BC560
Voltage ref are effectively LT1034
capacitor are ok too...but just a question please
C2, C3, C8 were polarized and i respected the polarity.....but for others wilma cap C4, C5, C6, C7 i did not respect anything, no polarity, i just plugged them as a resistor no matters which side....is that a problem?

So, have you lost the faith on the board ?
Lets proceed. We have to get this running ;-)
According to the pictures (which is limited in size) your soldering look ok to me All compunents must be in the right positions, you have done triple check. I zoomed in on the pictures, it seems ok to me.
You said that you have the Placid HD running. Well, the BP is just a double HD. You might be able to spot the error by comparing.
