Hi, I'm looking to use a couple of these boards with 1794's or possibly 2's assuming I can make the necessary adjustments (just ordered the boards in fact). What's the recommended output stage? I see Russ recommended the IVY a couple of years ago. Is that still the case? I'm looking to remain balanced through the whole I/V. Any thoughts on the CEN over on DIY Audio?
Just as a background, this is not the 1st project of this type. I've built several DAC kits and countless mods on CD Players. Lots of background in TDA1541 and Marantz CD63 right through to Teac VRDS and now Audio Aero Capitole. I've also got my own regs which I use everywhere with encouraging results :)
Thanks, Ian

Legato works marvelously with COD. Just double the output swing and you will be in business.

Hi Russ, Thanks for the reply. You mean to adjust the values for R1-4 in the Legato? If so, what sort of value would you recommend? Also, is there an DC present on the balanced output (not planning to run the latter stages)? Thanks, Ian Edited by user Sunday, July 8, 2012 12:13:41 PM(UTC)
