Hello,
I would like to reduce R10 to 500 ohms to have more gain. This would add another 9.5dB to the 26dB the Sympatico currently runs at (with R10 set to 2000 ohms). Any issue for the Sympatico to operate with this much gain?
Thank you, Martin

I can't see any reason this should not work fine -- but wow thats a lot of gain!

Thanks for your answer, Russ. I'm using a DSP to implement the crossover and to equalize low frequencies in my active speakers; I have to limit the gain to minimize the risk of clipping. I don't have a preamp before the Sympaticos, hence the need for extra gain in the latter.
Volume control is done within the DSP. I'm considering building a Buffalo III to implement a multi-channel DAC with volume control :)
Happy New Year! Martin
