Hi all, I just soldered the new version of the Placid HD BP 2.1. I've ordered them with extra large Coolers because I nounted enlarged Coolers previously. But these are a next step larger! What a Towers! I could also see many components and the layout has changed. When scrolling trought the forum I came across the Beta thread. It seems that the 2.1 version is a cleaner Power Supply. Could expect any differences now in my Dual Mono setup? I have the 1.0 version installed for the LH Channel IVY.... Thnx, Jordo Edited by user Thursday, December 4, 2014 8:51:42 PM(UTC)

Sorry I missed your original post.
Yes you can expect a significant benefit. The 2.1 has much better PSRR and load regulation.

No worries, I figured it was a stupid question to ask since the answer was written in the Beta Thread if you continued reading :) But that's what I was affraid for... Now I have to order another Placid to keep my Dual Mono balanced... But than again it will improve Today I also received the new version Placid HD for my Teleporter set-up. So now I've got the 1.0 and 2.1 installed. One will be powering the Wave I/O and the other the Teleporter. Which Power Supply do you think I can hook up best with these components? thx, Jordo
