Hi,
after double checking the connections (also parts, solder joints etc.) my 4:1 mux to BufIIIse is still not working. Then I replaced it with one of my friend (everything is the same, only the restores array is soldered the other way round) and it this one is working OK in the same environment.
Hoe to troubleshoot?
Is it the array? Should it be the the other way? Or is it the mix chip?
thx
Branko

Hi, I found the specs of the array. There is no difference which way you you mount it. My Mux 4:1 is not switching. I had only one spdif source to test. But if I connected it i.e. to B3 input an the output to BufIIse music was playing always when I turned the switch (2-bit selector, rev.1.1 connected as per your wiring diagram, r1 in place, no jumper j1).Led changed from 1 to 4 but music kept playing with every switch position. After only exchanging the mux board for the other mux music was only playing when switch was in one position and the other three positions were mute (as it should be). (btw led d1 is lit at input b4 and led d4 is lit at input d1; d3/b3; d3/b2) Branko branko attached the following image(s): IMG_1095.jpg (38kb) downloaded 22 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. If you isolate the MUX by itself and apply power and a signal - Is the input signal present on any of the outputs - ever?
