Hi,

is it possible/good to use LT1034-BCZ-2.5 instead LT1034-IZ-2.5 (whichh are hard to get in germany)?

According to the data sheet I can't tell the difference between the 2. So yes, it should be ok.

They will be fine.

Here is the part number breakdown:

LT = Proprietary bipolar device (other values: LTC, LTM etc)

1034 = part number

B = Electrical grade (values: B, C, unrated, in this case, Temp Coefficient)

C = Temp rating (C = Commercial, I = Industrial)

Z = Package code (Z = TO-92)

2.5 = reference voltage


Further markings are packaging (bulk, tape and reel) and PB-free

Hello,

thank you for helping. It was the different temperature range for the "B"-type (0-->70°C) versus "I"-Type (-40 --> 85°C) I was unsure about.

Commercial .... 0° to 70°C
Industrial ...... – 40°C to 85°C
Military (OBSOLETE) .... – 55°C to 125°C
