Hello, I'm wondering if it's ok to remove the entire ballsie stage if I don't need that, just using the balanced outs? Specifically: R17-R24 R32-R35 R31 IC5 SW1 C9-C10 C17-C18 Thanks, igy Edited by user Wednesday, November 21, 2012 9:27:49 AM(UTC)

Hi Guys, I am building 6 (soon to be 8) IVY III boards and have the same question. It’s been mentioned it’s in the manual for the IVY III but I haven't been able to find it if it is.
I am switching kits (building 2 legato's I seem to have forgotten about) until I hear back as I am at the stage ware these parts would be going on the board.
Many thanks and sorry for being so dense
Andrew

I've checked the wiring for the PCB and managed to answer my own question. Yes you can leave out all the parts that igy137 lists. the board looks pretty sparse with out them too! Andy Edited by user Tuesday, October 28, 2014 1:09:49 PM(UTC)

FWIW, there is a graphic on the IVY-III page showing the balanced and SE components...

Cheers, My real confusion was R27-R30 which aren't marked on the site but are needed with the Bal section, as R25/26 are needed for SE. Edited by user Tuesday, October 28, 2014 3:22:20 PM(UTC)
