I currently have a juli@ soundcard ready to feed the Buffalo via i2s but was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on if something like this (http://www.cryo-parts.com/pclink.html) might be better.

If you are going to feed it USB, it is the same chip as our USB module (PCM2707), which can output S/PDIF or I2S to the Buffalo.

If you are feeding it S/PDIF (coax or optical), you are better off going direct to the Buffalo.
