Everything sounds great when the DAC is on, however if I don't turn off my monitors hooked up via the IVY's balanced outputs before I turn off the DAC there is a hum after the DAC is off.

I have the ground pin on the IEC inlet connected to the chassis. The two XLR outputs are connected via the 3 channels to the IVY. I do not have the ground tab on the XLR connected to anything.

Is there something in the grounding scheme I've overlooked?

From what I recall there is no hum on the SE outputs. Thank you.

EDIT: This probably is more appropriate in the IVY section.

I assume when the cables are not connected to the IVY, the hum goes away?

Try disconnecting Pin 1 (GND) on the XLR connectors and see if that solves the problem.
