I wired up the switch as per the diagram and tested it.
Something odd; the switch position on the right is Input 1, then input 4, then 3, then 2.
Is this intended, or is there something wrong with the diagram?

if you wire the switch exactly as in the diagram - it is wrong way. you must "step down" -shift- every wire 1 pin counterclockwise .

I wired and soldered the switch twice now and have not got what I expected. Could someone draw a correct wiring diagram? This is what I want to achieve. If the switch in the left most positon 1 to be input 1 on the MUX board position 2 to be input 2 on the MUX board position 3 to be input 3 on the MUX board position 4 to be input 4 on MUX board (AES) I wired the switch per the diagram in directions and got what the first poster said. I thought I did what post #2 said but this was my results. My second attempt I have pos 1 = input3 pos 2 = input2 pos 3 = input1 pos 4 = ???? (doesn't seem to work anything - xlr input is not active) Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Edited by user Sunday, November 30, 2008 5:54:33 PM(UTC)

Okay, I have modified the diagram. sernikus was correct. I had wired mine up, then drew the diagram the next day. When drawing it, I assumed the common pin to be in the center of it's output pins, but it is shifted to one side.
Anyway, the diagram is correct now.

Somewhat related question, at least it pertains to the switch, does anyone happen to know the indexing angle for the stock rotary switch that comes with the kit? It appears to measure as 15deg., also I'm wondering if there are suitable alternates since the way I'm implementing the input switching is only for 2 inputs and the stock switch doesn't have an adjustable stop.
