When the new USB board is ready, I'll be hooking that in directly to the Is2 on my B111SE, and will also have a BNC that I can keep wired in and I know switch between the two via the SE board IPS and an external switch. I would also like to have the toslink input, at least until the USB is available, so my thinking was to wire both spdif sources to a switch or relay (dpdt) and then hook the switch or relay output to the spdif and ground on the B111SE. Does this work, or should I get the OTTO 11?

If it does work, are there problems with using a relay, or is a small switch better? (possibly the relay coil would mewss with the signal?)

For now you could also use the TTL level output from the Toslink module, simply hook that up next to the BNC and switch between them using the IP_S pad. See page 39 for the TTL level inputs.
