The IP and S terminal for the selection found internally shorted, so the external switch will not work, now only work with I2S/DSD source, tried unwired all external wires and AVCC removed, only 3 trident left (soldered directly on board instead of using header) but the IP and S terminal still found shorted.

Please help!!

Can you post a picture? When I test the modules, I use a S/PDIF source, which would not work if the IP_S header was shorted. I am trying to figure out what might be the cause, so a god picture of the top and bottom of the board might help.

Hi Brian:

Photo for your reference, the red switch is for selecting SPDIF/I2S-DSD selection before.

If you are sure the pads have become shorted, you can make a small mod to fix it.

You can cut the trace between the last pad (under the letter "S" in IP_S) and the pull-up resistor (R1).

You can then solder the switch wire to the resistor pad, rather than to the S terminal.

Sorry Brian, the mod didn't work, after cut the trace, the IP pad still found short with the resistor wire, anything I can do with it?

To be clear, you cut the trace but the pad is still connected to the resistor?
