Hi all,

I wanted to show you my upgrade to the Teleporter.
I have made some preperations in the DAC/ Pre-Amp.

Relais 'B' on the Sidecar will be triggered by switching of the Selector Knob.
I changed the COAX connection from position 3 to 4 so the Relais will be triggered on position 3.
The only bad thing is that I also had to swap the source indication LED's and now the LED's will not light in sync with the knob. Thats the only thing. I also lowered the resistance of the resistor on the Sidecar to 1K.
The firmware chip is on the way to someone who will try to upgrade the firmware for me. I hope he succeeds.

I will post some more pictures when the other teleporter unit begins to shape.

Cheers,

jordo

Looks good.

Might be too late now, but you could just mount QN1 and QN2 to the floor of the case.

For Cooling purposes?
Yes could have been an idea.
The WaveIO with the Teleporter will push the Placid quite hard.
That's why I connected the original coolers in series.

I do not quite have some kind of a spacing issue here :)
The hight is restrictive though.

Thx,

Jordo
