Hi All, The fjpf parts are not available anymore. I have found an fjp5200OTU that looks like it should sub fine, but then the complimentary (fjp1943) is not available—I assume I need to use complimentary pairs. What would the best parts be that are in current production? Thanks in advance. Edited by user Tuesday, April 2, 2013 9:26:42 PM(UTC)

MJE15034/35 would be a great replacement. Be sure to isolate them from the heatsink, since they are not insulated packages.

Thanks Brian. I'm sure I've got some mica insulators in my parts bin. Whew—can place my Mouser order now!

The 15035 is also out of stock, but at least they're on order. I ran across NTE2666/2667 and also MJE 15032/33. They look about right to me, but I could be overlooking important parameters. Are you familiar with these? When I compare the 32/33 with the 34/35 you recommended, the main difference may be the gain is a bit lower. I know the spec sheet on the FJP5200 states "excellent gain linearity for low THD" which of course sounds great, but this may be a feature on all of these, or, heck, it may not even matter. I found a thread at DIY that mentioned needing to keep the gain above 80, which the 32/33 pair do not (measured at ~70). So, I'm just back ordering the 34/35 pair. The wait will let me get the housing designed... Edited by user Monday, April 22, 2013 10:09:28 PM(UTC)
