Russ,

Based on your prior posting on DiyAudio, you took the DSD data signal direct from the denon 1930 player using three wires, as so:

I will be doing the same with my ordered Buffalo Dac kit.

The Dac board has DCK D1 D2.

Based on the datasheet for the TI DSD1608 the pin layout should correspond as such:

37 DBCK - DCK
38 DSD1 - D1
39 DSD2 - D2

Correct?

Also, did you make use of digital ground from the Denon to the Dac?

32 DGND2

Hello,

You are correct on all counts, except that I took GND from the pad at CS52. I had not gotten to that point when I took to the picture. That seems to work just fine. :)
