I wonder if its possible in some way to use two Buffalo 3se configured in dual mono. With one legato as output stage? I meen 8 channels for left and 8 for right. So i can get balanced stereo output from one legato. This in order to save some cost but mostly space. And if it is possible and worth the effort, how mutch will it differ in sq from using standard dual mono config with one legato per Buffalo?

Yes you can easily do that. You would just parallel the outputs on both sides of the DAC, you just need to remember that because one side's phase is reversed that you need to connect the "off" side - out to to the "on" + out etc. People have done this in the past with B-II.

In parallel? For example, in this document here: http://www.twistedpearau.../dualmono_BII_IVYIII.pdf Talking about BIII which is for left channel : L+ output should be in parallel with R- output and both connect to L IN + input on IVY III (or Legato), right? Did I understand this correctly? Please reply
