Right ouput louder than left output, I want to test the Buffalo III output so I please let me know the dummy load value. I have this problem no matter what source I use (Combo384, WaveIo & S/PDIF). To be sure I inverted the channels between the BIII & the Legato and the louder channel also changed.

Did you place all twelve jumpers on the bottom (J1-J12)?

With Legato as dummy load with 1K sinus wave -3dB FS measures: Left channel hot to gnd 6-7mV cold to gnd 6mV Right channel hot to gnd 6-7mV cold to gnd 6mV Legato was loaded with 10K resistor. Are these measurements OK? Edited by user Wednesday, November 28, 2012 12:58:15 PM(UTC)

You measure balanced signals between "hot" and "cold". No to GND.

VR2 right channel 10R trimmer broken, I measured with DVM between middle pin to both out side pins and both measure Meg range. Can be this the issue? I discovered measuring dc offet at the Legato output between cold and hot outputs. Edited by user Thursday, November 29, 2012 1:24:50 PM(UTC)

All problem is when BIII is connected via I2S trought Sidecar using USB-I2S but isn't the interface because I have two; Amanero & WaveIO. When I play music trought S/PDIF I ear both channels the same, can be some installed jumper by Brian not well connected? is possible that when I use I2S I'm only using 4 X PCM/DSD channels instead 8 X PCM/DSD?

If the problem were with the output jumpers, the sound would be affected regardless of source. Since this is I2S only, I suspect the input jumpers. Since you are using the Sidecar, however, the jumpers are not needed.
To be clear, when you are testing I2S, you are using the Sidecar, correct?
If so, and you are hearing a level difference, it is possible there is a problem with the ribbon cable between Sidecar and Buffalo. I say this because of jumpers on the Buffalo inputs, then channels are joined on the Sidecar, and the signals go to the proper I2S input pins over the ribbon. If some channels are not connected properly, you could hear a reduction in output.
This is not a problem with S/PDIF, since only one input is used.

Yes, I'm using Sidecar for I2S signals, I check the ribbon cable between the Sidecar & the BIII & I will report.
