I am looking at purchasing either the Legato or IVY-III I/V Stage to go with a Buffalo-IIISE. I will be running the DAC directly to my power amp without a preamp and want to match the voltage output of the DAC to my power amp's input sensitivity which is 1.25V. The default output voltage of the Legato is 1.5Vrms and the default output voltsge of IVY-III is 2Vrms. If I want to use resistors to lower the output to 1.25Vrms, am I better off doing this on the Legato or IVY-III in terms of SQ? Thanks.
