Hi,

my B3 now working and the sound is great. Just want to be sure of the correct amount of shunted current. Pacid HD reads 490 mA shunting 10-12 mA (B3+sidecar+4 spdif board), 5.25v. Placid HD BP for IVY reads 150 mA shunting 70 mA on both rails, 14.95v.
So the questions:
1. Should I aim at 50 mA shunted current with Placid HD or leave it at 10-12 mA?
Having in mind that i want to add a teleporter to the system I will need another power supply for, say, teleporter+sidecar+spdif in this case?

2. Placid HD BP - 70 mA shunted, is it normal or I should lower this value? (The heatsinks are warm but not hot.)

Thanks in advance.

1. 10-12mA is a bit too low. Increase the current till you reach 50-60mA.
2. You might want to lower the current there, 50-60mA should do.
