I would like to use a single AVCC supply for both channels on my Buffalo III . Is that ok ?

Neither do I but sometimes it is nice be sure. I am not sure about the new modules if they really are better. So I prefer something I now is very good.

It will definitely work as long as you can supply the current - (should be no problem) Just keep the voltage around 3.3-3.5V. :)
Honestly though you want that regulator feedback loop very tight. That's why we designed the AVCC module.

The Teddy Pardo Supply is without feedback. So maybe it is not good for this purpose after all ?
