Hello Russ,

Thinking of adding output caps (100 uF) to the LT1763 regulators in the BII. Can it be done after the ferrite so as to create an LC filter at the output?

Also, what is the value of the bypass capacitor (the one for lowering the noise) in the LT1763? .1uF?

Thanks in advance...

The bypass cap is 10nF.

The current output caps (C16, 22 and 22) are 10uF. The easiest place to add the 100uF might be to piggy back on top of them.

You could experiment with the ferrite, but it is not a fixed resistance.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah piggyback to the output caps is the easiest way. I suppose the ferrite with the bypass cap next to the chip provides LC/RC filtering.

Installed the output caps. Photos here: http://hifiduino.wordpre...i-dac-ps-output-cap-mod/
