Hi,
Sorry for the silly question but I prefer to look stupid than break something.
I know that I can wire an output socket for my headphones from the dedicated output. But I wonder how to control the volume. I think the output is full volume out so I have to insert a volume pot in between. Please could somebody kind enough to bring some light and also how to wire everything ?

Thank you for your response, I appreciate it very much...
I have been looking the VOLUMITE, but I'm afraid, my knowledge is not enough to understand how to wire it. I don't know if it is between the COD dac and the LEGATO or after the HP OUT of the LEGATO. Also, I don't know wich one to buy, there are several firmware available so I am confused. There is a firmware for the OPUS dac, but I do not know is this suitable for the COD dac.
Maybe I have to buy the complete JOSHUA TREE controller?

Volumite won't work with the COD.
You would need a balanced Joshua tree setup into a Ventus EZ.

Hi Mr Russ, it is a pleasure to talk with you.
So, how it is used the HP OUT of the Legato?
Also, if I understood well your answer, I need a balanced JOSHUA TREE and a VENTUS headphone amp...?
Also, if I buy an OPUS DAC and a VOLUMITE, could the HP OUT from LEGATO be used and controlled? If yes, can you, explain better?
