Hi Mr Russ and Mr Brian,
i'm sorry if this question have been asked too many times, but i'm very inadequate on electronics, i have Opus 8740 and recently bought volumite with 8740 firmware for it. But i can't make it work, just hissing sound on the output. What i don't quite understand is about jumper setting on Opus, because i can't find volumite documentation for Opus 8740.
This is my wiring setup :
VCC - VD (Power supply)
GND - G (Opus)
SDA - MD (Opus)
SCL - MC (Opus)

And i already tried to set these jumper in order to get into software mode :
1. I2S to left
2. IWO to left
3. Mode to right
others jumpers were open.

On volumite i installed pulled up resistors. And i already tried to pulled down PB1 or PB3 or both to G with 10K resistors (is it ok for that value?)
I think there's something wrong on my configuration, need help so much :)

PS : I also have metronome v1.0 before Opus set for 192khz. Is it going to make the configuration more complicated or the metronome doesn't give any effect on volumite-opus configuration?
