Hi
Is it safe to run one side of LCDPS at 3.3V with the 15 VAC(9+9) TPA (avel lindberg) transformer? Do i need bigger heathsinks? The plan is powering I2S isolated outputs from WaveIo. The option would be 2 Lipofer batteries in parallel mode. But changing and recharging them would be a painfull. I suppose using a Trident 3.3V Shunt Regulator with LCDPS would be an overkill...

Sorry I missed this. :) Yes it should go doen that low, but you may need to tweak a resistor or two.

Many thanks for your feedback. I have the LCDPS running at 3.3V for a while it looks ok. The tweaks you mean is increasing the value of R1 and R3?. What do you think about adding a shunt regulator?

If it goes down that low you don't need to change anything. :)

If you want a shunt then you could use the Placid HD. :)
