According to TEST RESULTS table, first two rows.
1 6-bit Anti-Phase True Normal - I2S:Sound is ~6dB lower –> Half of the DACs are not used; SPDIF: Normal sound.
2 6-bit Anti-Phase True B-II - Normal sound. In I2S, BII wiring corresponds to the input channel Remap
I think, that my BII is working like point 1.

I am not sure what you mean? You have a B-II the only possible case is B-II. :)
I am not sure what he means by "normal' in any case. :)

Russ, "normal sound" means full analog level on the output the ES9018, not ~6dB lower. Point 2 is when BII working normal and firmware is loaded properly. Point 1 is default settings of ES9018. Normal settings of ES9018 Input Map I just try once to remove the firmware chip to compare, and the analog level was half level again. When firmware chip is removed the BII is working with normal settings of ES9018, like point 1. Edited by user Wednesday, August 1, 2012 11:57:21 AM(UTC)

You you certain the firmware is actually programming the chip? Could the I2C lines be compromised? If the controller is working then it should function as described.

Hello, the problem with half level analog signal is not solved, yet. Yesterday after one hour listening music, Buffalo unlock, lock again and analog signal become normal. This is far from normal work. I don't know where is the problem - firmware chip or Buffalo. I use only I2S digital source. It is possible to remove firmware chip and re-solder outputs to have normal output level?

It sounds like the controller is dead? If you get the same result with or without it, then it is not doing anything. The controller must be functional for the input remapping to work. It is also possible that the I2C inputs on the DAC itself are damaged, but the chances of this are very remote. Edited by user Wednesday, January 9, 2013 4:09:33 PM(UTC)
