previous setup:

(2) Jensen 11ssp6m
(1) opus dac v2.1 (no output capacitors, just shorted with a small copper wire)
(1) tw pear s/pdif tranceiver module
(1) tw pear toslink module
(1) LCPS (not the currently being sold LCDPS)
(2) square shaped transformers unknown specs

I recently purchased a 2nd opus dac so I could run these in mono mode. They both run fine in stereo mode.
The moment I throw them into mono mode I hear static when the music is playing. If the music
is at a very low section, then I hear it clearly without any static. But the moment it comes to a normal level then
the music comes in with static. I tried these with and without the transformers with no luck.

The DAC are configured and wired as per a previous posting:

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like either I2S wiring problem or a bandwidth selection problem on the DACs.
