Hi.
I am having a problem with my Opus DAC, I have built the LCDPS and connected the VD of the Opus and the S/PDIF power to one output and the Analogue VA of the Opus to the other output. I have verified 7.5v on both outputs and connected the PCM outputs of the S/PDIF board to the Opus (and the clocks). When I connect my S/PDIF source (Minidisc) all of the LED's go green (all but non-audio are red without). I have connected the outputs to the XLR in of some powered monitor speakers but I get NO audio.....
Can you suggest what I might be doing wrong? I have set the DIP switches to the recommended settings as per the Manuals.
I have connected the PCM Output/Input as follows:
BCK -> BCK
SCK -> MCK
LRCK -> LRCK
DOUT -> DIN
GND -> GND

OK I am going blind!!!
I had the DIP switch on the S/PDIF Module set to 0 1 1 0 not 1 0 0 1. Now set correctly and working fine!!!!
One question, I thought that leaving Mute open would give a soft mute but I seem to get quite a bit of noise if I disconnect/reconnect the S/PDIF, Is this normal???

Fair point! I think my original problem was compounded as I also found a soldering fault (mine) on the PSU. I had missed one of the connections to the choke on the side I was using for analogue and it worked fine if the board was flat but it flexes very slightly when I mount it and that was enough to kill it!
