I ended up either pulling or blowing my digital ground out of the terminal. When I hooked it back up I am not getting music out of my analog outs...in fact no sound at all. What is the likelihood I blew something or do you think I still have a loose connection somewhere? I checked all the connections ...getting 15 volts in analog power inputs and now getting 3.3 v into digital power ins but no music. I would appreciate some input here. If I blew something and have to replace the board can I replace with buf II?

hmmm.... Can you measure DC voltage at each of the voltage regulator and op-amp outputs?

If you can be so kind please refresh my memory regarding which components I should measure across. Also the event that prompted all this was I inadvertently pulled out the extension cable for my mouse on the pc. The pc I would have thought would be effected but no I am still getting a signal out of my spdif cable from my pc to the Buf32s. And although I think I put no physical pressure on my buf32s board I believe I created a voltage spike to the buf32s which may have blown the digital ground connector off the the digital input to the buf32s board. What about the reset should I try that? I tried recycling the mains power on/off and spdif switch but nothing so far helps. Edited by user Sunday, June 24, 2012 11:32:23 AM(UTC)
