Hi, thanks for answer, please other questions :

1) the power in ( VN - GND) of single S / PDIF converter

Answered already.

but i use one imput S/PDIF input 1 D1, GND

2) I have to remove some jumpers for direct connection of the source to the DAC in stereo mode?

If you are using S/PDIF, you do not need any input jumpers.

Are you saying the lights on the Tridents are off, then turn on when you connect the S/PDIF module?

It sounds like you either have a short on the S/PDIF module, or adding the additional current load of the S/PDIF module is enough to keep the Tridents from functioning. If the second case, you need more current to feed the whole DAC.

First, check for a short.

If none is found, try increasing the current output of the Placid HD.

I think you have miswired the power (VD) from the Buffalo to the S/PDIF board. Both of the end pins are tied to VD. I think that is your short.

Make it easy. Get your power directly from the Placid.

Looks like you are going directly out of the DAC... No I/V stage? How are you dealing with the DC offset?

Your VD terminal block on the DAC appears to not be soldered on.

Do you have the output jumpers installed on the Buffalo?
