Hello,

I think that I made the simplest configuration (B3, IVY, Toslink) but the lock don't turned on when I powered it.
JPCM1-JPCM4, JDSD1-JDSD2 is without jumpers
J1-J12 with jumpers
ADDR without jumper
SW1 OFF, SW2 OFF
I try to connect toslink direct to B3 with as possible as shot flat cable. I try it with voltage divider and without it. Which connection is correct in this situation.

I set up voltages and current very precisely. I also try sw1.5,sw1.6,sw1.7 combination but I was not successful.

Please give me some advise what can I do.

I would like to thank you in advance.

Please give me advise how I attach pictures.

Any chance you can post a picture?

Where to you have the TOSLINK module connected on the B3? It should be to D1 and it's GND pin.

The voltage divider is not needed when connecting directly, but it would not hurt either.

I connect to D1 and GND. I also try with D2 and GND combination.

You are using a voltage divider when you don't need one. Send TTL.

It appears that you are connected to D2 inthe photos. Be sure to select that input with the dip switches.

Shouldn't all the DIP switches be set to off & then connect Toslink to D1? your Dip switches seem to be all over the place, but it is a bit hard to be sure.

I'm sorry if it doesn't work now I'm out of ideas, with me it's normally something simple I have over looked.

I guess you could test & see if there is a signal coming from the Toslink Module, I'll have to admit I have no idea how the BIII works out it is connected if there in not signal playing, hopefully someone can enlighten me to what the DAC locks on to or is suppose to lock on to.

Thank you for suggestion. I mesure toslink output with multimeter instrumen. I connect optical signal and there was 160 mV AC. I will mesure it also with osciloskop but I need more time.

I tested toslink with osciloscop. I mesured at output about 1.4 contant V. In the input I have music. I think that it is not correct. I attached pictures of my toslink if I made something wrong. If you think that the problem is toslink I order another one.

I would have thought your output would vary with the music. Can you play test tones & check the frequencies coming out. I guess if you played a 1khz sine wave in you should get a 1khz sine wave out, I have used TrueRTA to do similar things with the Active crossover I built.

The toslink module is the same as mine, everything is where it should be & in the right orientation. I guess if you played a 1khz sine wave in you should get a 1khz sine wave out, I have used TrueRTA to do similar things with the Active crossover I built.

I ordered new toslink, but I will make mesure experiment again. I have a question. Toslink is completed except L1. Why also L1 is not build on the board ?

Did you buy the toslink board already assembled?
