Hi,
I would to build an OPUS dual mono with separate power supply to digital from analog stages, to improve separation and minimize interferences for tipology. I've think to connect one Placid HD to both analog stages of two OPUS pcb, and another Placid HD to both digital stages of two OPUS, but I don't understand what is the VDC requested for each stage.

I read from manual that input recommended for both stages (analog and digital) of each OPUS is 7,5VDC, but in parts list of OPUS are present two different regulators on board: LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB and LP2985AIM5-3.3/NOPB, first 5.0VDC, second 3.3VDC.

My question is: what recommended input to each stage (analog and digital)? For analog I believe 7.5VDC, but digital? 5.0VDC or 7.5VDC?

What secondary of transformers are requested?

Thanks :)

Anyone?

I explain: in a configuration full dual-mono, I would to use two R-core transformer, one per channel, with 4 secondary each one

- 1 x 0-6VAC – 5VA -> digital section of OPUS dac one channel;
- 1 x 0-9 VAC – 10VA -> analog section of OPUS dac one channel;
- 2 x 0-15VAC – 15VA -> Ventus EZ one channel;

is a good choice, especially considering current absorption? I will use Placid HD for each one secondary (0-6V, 0-9V), and Placid HD bipolar for Ventus EZ (2x0-15V).
