Just wondering if there would be any benefit to running 4 pole Mundorfs in the Placid BP.
Parts Connexion has some excellent pricing on these and I was just reading about
the benefits of running a 4 pole capacitor in a power supply. I have never tried it
so was just ruminating. Another question anyone have any thoughts on Panasonic Pureism Caps in comparison
with Panasonic FM's.

Thanks

Yes there is a benefit in using 4 pole caps IMO......I have been using them for 10 years though I do tend to favour the use of schottky's in rectification too. I've used Jensen and T-Net in various applications and in all they perform (sonically) very well. The draw back is their cost compared to standard two pole type caps.

They seem to filter out mains born rubbish giving a darker (less noise) to the presentation. HTHs
