Hi Brian, will the buffalo work without the leds installed? I'm guessing it's a no?
Id like to hook it up today and give it a try, but i don't have the led's. If i installed some that i already have, will they be ok just for a quick listen?
I'm not sure what rating they are, i just know they are superbright 3mm leds.

It seems I have left the LEDs out of several of the kits this round. I have a giant box of them sitting here, I just forgot to add them to the little hardware bags. Sorry about that.
The Buffalo will work fine without them. There is nothing special about the LEDs, and just about any standard LED (not high output) should work fine. We picked green, you could easily use another color. The superbright might draw too much current, not really sure.
If you or anyone else would like, I will gladly send the LEDs I have here.

Ok for now i'll just hook it up without them to try it. Yeh it would be great if you could send them. I'm going to order some bits from you soon so i guess you may as well send them with the bits.
I'm just going to try it in a box i set up for my opus. Its just a trial for now, eventually it will have its own box.
Cheers.
