I just noticed Saturday that high frequency hiss was developing on the left channel after a year of operation without issue. (Right channel is clear as a bell.) Sunday I checked voltages and locks they all looked good but now the left channel is silent. I'm thinking it may be a problem with the IVY on the left channel or the Ballsie Lite. When I get a chance I will swap the IVY's over. If that does not work then I'll swap the channels on the Ballsie or perhaps I'll try this first as it will be easier. Any pointers at this stage appreciated.

Monday I checked wiring etc. Right channel which was ok now not responding to volumite so I'm going to try a new one. Would explain why I have the locks but no sound. With any luck it will just be the microcontroller. Fingers crossed.

Sunday. Started the DAC/Pre up and seemed Ok then hiss developed on the left channel again. Swapped the firmware on the volumite which seems to have resolved the issue. Working OK for 90 minutes. I was starting to worry about my tridents as the LCDPS on the left channel had drifted to 5.6V. I rechecked all voltages and then set the BII voltages to 5.25V.

Thanks to Brian for posting my order so promptly. Only 5 working days to reach my house in Bangkok!Applause
