The 4:1 Selector Knob is standard delivered with green LED's.
I want to use Blue LED's and ordered ones with the following specifications:

7,5mA
5V

Can I just replace them for the Green ones or do I have to adjust a resistor (or order complete other LED's)?

Thx in advance,

Jordo

forward voltage for most blue LEDs is going to be too high to be practical. You can try reducing the resistor by half - but it still may not work well. You may need to experiment a bit.

Ok, what effect will it heave if the forward voltage seems to be too high? Is it about the brightness or will I encounter other problems?
There is only one resistor on the bord, is that the one for the LED's?

Thx,

Jordo

The only thing that may happen is they won't light up. :)

Yes That resistor is for the LEDs.

I have replaced the resistor with a 220 Ohm LED.
I must say that they illuminate dimmed now.
I might install a smaller resistor there.

Any suggestions for the next step? Will 100 Ohm be a too great step you think?
