Well, last night my Buffalo still worked fine with no problem, yet this morning it didn't output anything at all. I looked at the DAC board and discovered the C13 looked like it had been burnt, actually there is some dark liquid leaking from it which smells nasty, and D1 didn't light up. The ESS chip gets hot (naturally) after leaving it on for awhile and there's still this familiar 'click' sound appears everytime the Buffalo is switched on.

Is there anyway to confirm the DAC board is screwed? Or it might be my I/V? Should I get another cap and start replacing?
