Hi, after several months of sweet music from my BII, I noticed quite heavy distortion in the sound. It suddenly appeared. I try to change different sources, but the problem remains. I check the power on Placid BP_HD, TP_CCS=380mA, TP_Shunt=180mA on both rails. Output voltage is set to 13,5V. When is no sound from source, I get no distorsion. It is present only when the music is playing. I belive, that Legato is the source of the trouble. What are the first steps for troubleshooting this issue?
regards

Well it might not hurt, but if you needed them you would have needed them from the start - unless something changed in the setup.
I would look for anything that might have come loose or a weak solder joint etc. Is it only from one channel or both? Does swapping channels have any effect?

I think, that I eliminate the possibility for cold solder joint, because I allready resolder everything. The last thing I done, was connecting QN2,QN3 and QN5,QN6 for thermal conntact. Changing channels dosen't have any impact, since distortion is present on both channels.

Update. I manage to resolve this issue. When I replaced wireing with silver wires, I made "stupid" mistake and swap GND and SE output on both channels. Thank you for all for the support. regards
