Can I go directly into the B3 from a Audio Alchemy I2s output?
Not sure if I would need the metronome

I would need to know more about the Audio Alchemy I2S output. :)

If it is standard I2S with a 64fs bit clock it should work just fine.

I have a feeling its 32fs, those older players inputted to the TDA1543
It also has the older Pioneer Stable platter drive PEA1179 but I think its being converted. I dont think this platter had direct I2S like the Phillips.
I had a feeling I would need the metronome
I guess my next step would be to try the SPDIF out to D1-Gnd, correct?
Not sure that the metronome conversion from I2s would be any better than the SPDIF straight in

I did find out this has a Sony CXD2500 Chip
The data sheets says 48/64bit

Connected the I2s, I now have a lock but mute light is on when I reset, initial power up just the data light is on....could data wire be crossed?
