I am a newbe,
very interested in Buffalo for connect to RME HDSP9632 over RME WCM.
Is it possible to do custom word clock input to BUFFALO DAC ?

I looked up the same thing a few month ago.
I did not find much, but apparently it is not possible.

Or is it?

The word clock is just one component of a PCM signal. If you are using I2S you must supply a word clock, so in this sense you are always supplying a *custom* word clock.

In with SPDIF and DSD there is no word clock input.
