I noticed that my LCDPS has a different layout on the board then it does in the schematic online. I think I put my VR2 on wrong due to reading the wrong layout. Should I trust the layout printed on the board or is there an updated layout already up? Sorry to ask on your vacation.

I have to ruin it to desolder it. (ruined)

Anyone have an extra 5k trimmer? :(

Pity you removed it. If all you did was put the trimmer on the wrong way round, it wouldn't matter,

as the middle pin is just fixed to one end.

The adjusting screw would just have been at the other end. :)

.... or is it more serious than that ? :)

I thought it might just be something like that... oh well :( I'll put it on my list of fix up orders, the rest is done now. :)

Which PS is it?

LCDPS or LCBPS?

There is no LCPS, and I am just double checking that we have the correct info up.

Hi Manox2,

I think what you must have done is confused the LCBPS(Bipolar) image for the LCDPS(Dual). As the pot orientation did not change from 1.0 to 1.1 versions of LCDPS. In fact all that really changed from 1.0 to 1.1 was the size of the common mode choke land pattern.

Still as akione pointed out, it will work fine oriented either way.

Cheers!
Russ

No need to apologize, I just wanted to help clear up any confusion other builders might have. :)

Cheers!
