Probably won't come as a huge surprise to most here but I have been listening to the Buffalo/Ivy combo for the past hour or so and think it sounds great. It is substantially better than the Opus though I must quickly add that I have been listening to the Opus SE direct, i.e. no ballsie/ivy. The sound is much fuller, spacious, lively, smooth and articulate. This was immediately apparent. I had high expectations and they have been exceeded.

The kits are beautifully done and easy to assemble. Really great work by you guys!

I have mine constructed in a temporary wooden case as I plan to add a JT and uber with remote and wonder how big a chassis will ultimately be need? Will additional ps modules be needed? What size will the vfd be? Really looking forward to putting this thing together.

Hi Ron,

I am very glad you are happy with the DAC!

It's always good to hear that someone has had success. This is something I never get tired of hearing.

I hope you get a lot of pleasure out of it.

Some of the info you are asking for is not settled yet. keep your eyes open for more news to come.

Cheers!
Russ
