I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm using the IVY III with the buffalo, using the balanced outputs for the main speakers. I want to sum the left and right channels of the single ended output to connect a subwoofer with a built in crossover.

Would connecting the single-ended left and right channels somehow affect the balanced outputs in any way?

Please let me know... Thank you...

No it should do any harm at all, but you will want to use a summing circuit unless you sub amp has one built in. Which most do.

Something like this:
