Hi I do not remember what effect it will have if I increase the R 8 ( shunt resistor ) to lets say 3 ohm. I have done that by adding 2 RC with 1.1 ohm in each. Now I have a little problem with the output voltage I think . Can anybody advise me on this ? Edited by user Wednesday, October 12, 2011 3:25:44 PM(UTC)

It would reduce the maximum current. Why would you want to do that? Leave it as 1ohm. If you need more current use a larger R1/VR1.
